Lift Foils & Delta-Q Case Study:

MAKING WAVES IN THE WATER SPORTS INDUSTRY

Sports and recreation have long been areas where innovation has improved everyday life, and a perfect example is the development of the first-ever electric hydrofoil surfboard by Lift Foils.

This case study talks about the partnership between Delta-Q and Lift Foils and how they collaborated to create a battery-powered surfboard, the eFoil. Delta-Q's chargers provide these innovative surfboards with a tough, reliable battery charging solution without sacrificing efficiency, so surfers can safely navigate any body of water.

Delta-Q is ready to take on any challenges, whether that is tough design requirements, challenging environments, or even supply chain difficulties.

Lift Foils is a family-run business making performance hydrofoils in Puerto Rico since 2010In 2015, their co-founder Nick Leason came up with the idea for the original eFoil, applying the technology from smart phones, electric vehicles and even drones into a board that would let its rider fly above any body of water without needing to be propelled by wind or waves.
